Theo Giannou’s career in the pharmaceutical industry spans over 25 years, a number of multinational pharmaceutical companies and a variety of regulatory and business development roles. In the ten years as a regional PV head for Asia Pacific, at Baxter and Johnson&Johnson, he was responsible for building and developing PV capabilities, infrastructure and resources in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. He was accountable for compliance with PV regulations across pharmaceutical, consumer and device product categories.
Theo has left an indelible mark on the evolution of the PV safety sciences, regulations and standards. Based in Sydney and Shanghai, he has established PV infrastructure and systems from the bottom up, both at the local and regional level. He has also been a tireless advocate for patient safety, engaging industry leaders and regulatory authorities to support the development of PV standards in Asia Pacific.
Most recently, Theo has been an international PV consultant (JPCC Associates) implementing safety governance models, creating and executing vendor selection and oversight frameworks, facilitating partnership agreements and overseeing remediation activities for global and US based pharmaceutical companies.
In 2017, Theo co-founded Bloom Agents, having identified a need to provide specialist PV services in the Asia Pacific Region. Theo holds a Pharmacology and Biochemistry Science Degree from the University of Sydney, as well as a Masters in Medical Science (Drug Development) from the University of New South Wales. He is also a Certified Executive Coach.

Wee Chuan’s career in the pharmaceutical industry spans over 15 years in a number of multinational pharmaceutical companies across manufacturing, pharmacovigilance and regulatory compliance roles. Bilingual in English & Mandarin, he is able to read and write both languages proficiently.
During his last two roles as a regional PV manager for Asia Pacific, at Johnson & Johnson & Merck Kgaa, he was responsible for PV operations, project management, regulatory compliance and training in the Asia Pacific region. He was accountable for ensuring compliance with PV regulations across pharmaceutical and consumer sector. In addition, he was responsible for developing and implementing PV Compliance metrics at the local and regional level across Asia Pacific as part of regulatory compliance excellence initiatives.
In 2017, Wee Chuan co-founded Bloom Agents, having identified a need to provide specialist PV services in the Asia Pacific Region.
Based in Singapore, Wee Chuan holds a Biological Science Degree from National University of Singapore (NUS). He has successfully completed the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) and certified as a competent Trainer and Assessor. He is also a Certified Trainer/Leader in Kepner-Tregoe Problem Solving & Decision Making. He has successfully supported the pharmaceutical industry to perform systematic troubleshooting using Kepner-Tregoe approach. More recently, he has completed the Joint Alliance Duke-NUS Education Certificate Programme in Medical Affairs and NUS Business Agility and Design Thinking Bootcamp.
